Timah director steps down after appointment at Pelindo unit

State-owned tin miner PT Timah Tbk (IDX:TINS) said its business development director Suhendra Yusuf Ratuprawira has stepped down after being appointed to a director role at another state firm.
The company said the resignation followed Suhendra’s appointment as director at marine services firm PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim, a subsidiary of state-owned port operator PT Pelindo, as decided at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on April 20.
Under Indonesia’s state-owned enterprise regulations, directors are prohibited from holding concurrent board positions at multiple state firms.

Timah said Suhendra’s term as business development director ended effective April 20, with the change also confirmed in a formal notification submitted to the company on April 21.
The company added that the leadership change would not affect its operations, financial condition or business activities.
