State-owned tin miner PT Timah Tbk (IDX:TINS) said its business development director Suhendra Yusuf Ratuprawira has stepped down after being appointed to a director role at another state firm.

The company said the resignation followed Suhendra’s appointment as director at marine services firm PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim, a subsidiary of state-owned port operator PT Pelindo, as decided at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on April 20.

Under Indonesia’s state-owned enterprise regulations, directors are prohibited from holding concurrent board positions at multiple state firms.
