Timah sells only 1,300 tons of tin bars in July

IDX-listed state owned tin producer, PT Timah Tbk said that the company is cutting its sales volume due to falling price, selling only 1,300 tons of tin bars in July, Sukrisno, President Director of PT Timah Tbk., told Petromindo.com.

?Tin price was falling down to about US$19,000 per ton. We would sell at a loss at such price level,? he said.

The company, which has targeted to produce 28,000 to 29,000 tons of tin bars this year, sold about 5,820 tons in the first quarter this year.
