Timah, Sucofindo sign MoU on consultancy services

IDX-listed tin giant PT Timah Tbk signed a MoU on Thursday with state-owned consultancy and surveyor company PT Sucofindo to increase cooperation in various areas related to inspection, audit, tin commodity test, environmental impact assessment (or Amdal), certification, consultancy, training, exploration activity, and other services that would help the business processes at Timah.

Timah said in a statement that the MoU was signed by company President Director M. Riza Pahlevi, and Sucofindo President Director Bachder Djohan Buddin in Pangkalpinang.

Under the MoU, Sucofindo will also assist Timah in implementing reclamation of its former mine sites, in which the tin giant plans to plant food and industrial crops that can produce raw materials for industries, the statement said.
