Timah to join bid for IBRA's mining assets

The state-owned tin mining company PT Tambang Timah will join the international tender to purchase four mining assets of the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA), the Neraca daily quoted company president Erry Riyana Hardjapamekas.

The paper said that Timah will compete with 15 foreign investors and four local investors including the state-owned coal mining firm PT Bukita Asam.

IBRA plans to sell is shares in four mining companies including PT Indominco Mandiri, PT Kitadin, PT Trubaindah Coal, and PT Barasentosa Lestari. (*)
