Titan to drill exploration wells in 2012

Titan Resources, the operator of NE Natuna exploration block offshore Natuna, plans to conduct semi-submersible drilling activity for three exploration wells and one optional appraisal well.
The work is expected to start during first quarter of next year, the company said in tender announcement on Wednesday. The company is calling for contractors to register for tendering process.
In January 2011, the company called for bids to provide a remote operating underwater vehicle (ROV) unit to support the drilling program. The ROV should have a capability to work under water depth of 1,500 feet (minimum). (denny)
