Titan Wheels starts Indonesian ops

Large mining wheels manufacturer Titan Europe announced Thursday that its subsidiary company ?Titan Wheels Australia Pty Ltd? has commenced operations in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.

The new operation will trade as PT Titan Wheels Indonesia and initially be a sales and distribution outlet for the products manufactured and marketed by Titan Wheels Australia. The personnel will also be trained in the non destructive testing and wheel repair business, the company said.

Located at Balikpapan Kalimantan, the facility is ideally located to service the largest concentration of mines within the region, as well as having port facilities for ease of import and export of products to other mining areas of Indonesia, it said.(alex)
