Tjiwi Kimia builds new power plant in East Java

Tjiwi Kimia is constructing a new plant in the company?s industrial complex Mojokerto, East Java. The company currently has three coal-fired power generation units.
Sutedja said that the company's coal power plants consume an average of 60,000 tons per month, which is supplied from Kalimantan.
The fund for the construction of the power plant will come from the capital expenditure budget this year, which reaches between US$140 million to $150 million.
The company will allocate funds between US$ 40-US $ 50 million for maintenance of production machinery. A half of the total fund will be in the form of loans obtained from banks, including PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), and others. (*)
