East Kalimantan coal miner PT Tunas Muda Jaya (TMJ) currently produces around 130,000 tons of coal per month from only about 30,000 tons previously, an industry source told Petromindo.Com

With the current monthly output rate, TMJ expects to produce around 1.5 million tons of high CV coal this year, the source said. In Dec 2012, TMJ signed mining service contract for five years worth of US$396 million with mining contractor PT Cipta Kridatama to boost TMJ?s coal output.

TMJ is a subsidiary of PT Mulia Andalan Mandiri, which is part of PT Permata Energy Resources business group and a private company with mining license (IUP) to operate coal mining production in Batu Sopang Sub-district, Pasir Regency
