Top ministry officials installed

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik has installed several top officials, including two directors general, in a major reshuffle aimed to rejuvenate the organization of the ministry.

In a ceremony held at the ministry on Thursday, A. Edy Hermantoro and Ridha Mulyana were installed as Director General of Oil and Gas and Director General of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) respectively.

Also installed were Hadi Purnomo as Secretary to the National Energy Council, I Gusti Nyoman as Expert Staff for Institution and Strategic Planning, Djajang Sukarna as Expert Staff for the Economy, FX Sutijastoto as Head of Research and Development Body, Mochtar Husein as Inspector General, Alihudin Sitompul as Director of Variety of Energy, M. Yunus D as Head of Oil and Gas Training and Education Center (Pusdiklat Migas), Dadan Kusdiana as Bio-energy Director at EBTKE, Maritje Hutapea as Energy Conservation Director at EBTKE.

All the officials were the ministry?s workers prior to the installment, except for Mochtar Husein who worked for state comptroller BPKP.

Meanwhile, Jero has issued a decree to extend the tenure of Waryono Karno and Thamrin Sihite as Secretary General and Director General of Mineral and Coal for one year.
