Total E & P Indonesie awards contract to Enventure Global Technology

Houston-based firm Enventure Global Technology announced Monday that it had been awarded a three-year contract from Total E & P Indonesie through P. T. Dataco Citra Indonesia to provide Solid Expandable Tubular (SET) Systems.
The contract authorizes Enventure to supply Total with SET equipment and installation services for a development project in the Peciko natural gas field off East Kalimantan.
The challenge in the Peciko field is reaching total depth with adequate hole size, said the company. Enventure's 7-5/8 x 9-5/8 in. Openhole Liner (OHL(TM)) System helps mitigate that challenge by allowing for an extra string in the well design without compromising hole size. SET Systems will be used as a contingency to cover shallow gas zones in this offshore field. Currently, Total drills two wells inside a single conductor in the Peciko field. (alex)
