Total E&P signs PSC to develop SW Bird?s Head

TEPI West Papua holds 100% participating interest in the SW Bird?s Head block. The block is located in the on-offshore Salawati Basin, West Papua Province, covering an area of 7,176 square kilometers.
General Manager TEPI West Papua, Elisabeth Proust, said, ?We are glad and happy that Total won the bid to develop the block. The signing of the PSC shows confidence over Total?s commitment to continue to invest in the exploration of new Working Areas in Indonesia, in line with the government?s push to discover new hydrocarbon reserves in eastern Indonesia.?
District Manager TEPI WEST PAPUA, Avep Disasmita said, ?Mobilization of employees and equipments will start soon, in order to finalize the three-year working programs in conducting seismic activities and drilling of one exploration well.? (godang)
