Total, Easco to commence drilling of E. Java block

French oil giant Total SA with its partner will drill one exploration well in Sepanjang PSC, East Java this month, Total E&P Corporate Communication Manager Ananda Idris said on Thursday.
Total farmed in the block in April with 49 percent participating interest, Ananda said. The remaining balance is held by operator PT.Easco East Sepanjang.
The block was awarded to Easco by the government in 2004.(godang)
