French firm Total EP Indonesie (TEPI) is in the process of farming out interest in the Telen block offshore East Kalimantan, according to a top official of the firm.
President Director/General Manager of TEPI Hardy Pramono told Petromindo.com that the firm has opened data room for the block. He did not give details about the percentage of interest it planned to farm out.
?In Telen block, we are preparing exploration drilling which will be conducted in 2015 or 2016,? Hardy said.
The Telen exploration block is located in the offshore Kutei Basin, covering an area of 2,369 square kilometers with water depths in the range of 300 and 1,000 meters and adjacent to the country?s most prolific gas producing offshore Mahakam block operated by Total.
The block is 100 percent owned by TEPI.
