Total forms labor union

A new labor union at East Kalimantan oil and gas firm PT Total Indonesie was officially formed on Monday by signing a joint working agreement with the company, the Samarinda-based Suara Kaltim reported.
The paper said that the signing ceremony was witnessed by government officials. But the paper didn't provide details of the working agreement.
Imam Santoso of the new labor union said that some 85 percent of Total employees had been recruited as members.
Suara Kaltim also said that a new labor union had been recently formed at oil and gas firm PT Unocal. (*)
