Total raises fuel prices

Total Oil Indonesia has raised the retail prices of its gasoline following the rise in crudee prices on the international market and similar moves by its competitors.

Effective Wednesday evening, the firm has raised the price of Performance 92 gasoline to Rp 6,200 per liter from Rp 5,800, Performance 95 to Rp 6,900 from Rp 6,500. The price of Performance Diesel remains unchanged at Rp 6,900 per liter, company brand and communication manager Rulianti Syahrul said in a statement.

The firm has opened two gas stations in the Greater Jakarta area and plans to open another one in BSD area end of July, Rulianti said.

State owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina and PT Shell Indonesia have raised the retail prices of their fuels for this month. (Bernard)
