Total sees gas retail ops to commence in 2007

French energy giant Total SA confirmed on Wednesday intention to enter Indonesian fuel retail market.
?Total is currently in the process of applying for the license; we hope to develop five gas stations by the end of 2007,? Total Indonesian spokesperson Ananda Idris told Petromindo.Com. He did not give the amount of investment the company would make.
If the plan is realized, Total will follow footsteps of Royal Dutch/Shell and Petronas, which had already operated several non-subsidized fuel in greater Jakarta area. (alex)
