Total to drill first well in Bengkulu block in Q3

Total E&P Indonesie Mentawai B.V., the local unit of French firm Total SA that operates Bengkulu-Mentawai block offshore Bengkulu, expected to start drilling at the Rendang-1 well of the block in the third quarter of 2014.
This is the second time the firm has postponed the drilling plan. Initially, the firm planned to drill the well early this year. It later postponed it to the middle of this year.
According to Head of Media Relations of Total E&P Indonesie (TEPI) Kristanto Hartadi, the drilling can not be conducted early this year because ?preparations are not done yet?.
"We'll make announcement at the time we?ll commence drilling," Kristanto told Petromindo.com on Monday.
