Total to keep gas production at 2014 level

Total EP Indonesie, a subsidiary of French energy giant Total SA, said it will maintain its gas production at the 2014 level this year but its condensate production will slightly drop.

In 2014, the firm produced 1.65 bcf (1,649 mmscfd) of gas and 67,000 barrels per day of condensate. Based on the 2015 Work Program & Budget (WP&B), the firm will produce 1.65 bcf (1,650 mmscfd) of gas and 62,000 bpd of condensate. The WP&B assumes oil price at US$105 per barrel. ?We are studying its economy in view of the drastic fall of the crude price,? he said.

The firm has no exploration drilling plan this year, but the firm will drill 120 development wells, he said.
