Total to maintain SPS current production for next year

Total EP Indonesie (TEPI) pledges to maintain the current liquid and gas production of its Senipah-Peciko-South Mahakam (SPS) processing unit which is part of Mahakam PSC in East Kalimantan for next year.

Throughout this year the SPS processing unit located in Senipah has produced more than 50,000 barrels of liquid and around 750 mmscfd of gas this year, according to TEPI?s Head of Media Relations Kristanto Hartadi.

?We shall seek to maintain the current production of the processing unit for 2014,? Kristanto told Petromindo.com.

The liquids processed at the SPS processing unit include 15,000 bpd of oil from Handil field, 6000 bpd of oil and 32,000 bpd of condensate from Bekapai field.

?That?s the liquids processed at Senipah (SPS processing unit), excluding Bontang Return Condensate (BRC),? he said.

Mahakam PSC produces a total of 67,000 bpd of liquid this year, he added.
