Spokesperson Elan Biantoro told Petromindo.Com on Monday that once the fields resume normal operation, Mahakam block, which is the main gas supplier to the Bontang LNG plant, will produce 2.4 BCFD of gas and around 93,000 BPD of oil and condensate.
"Last Friday, it lost 6,000 BOPD in potential output. Hopefully, the block will regain its normal output of 93,000 BOPD," Elan said.
Sisi-Nubi and Tunu fields resumed production last Tuesday, a few days later than scheduled.
Another spokesman I Gde Pradnyana said earlier that production stoppage at both fields has caused loss of potential production amounting to around 532 MMCFD of gas and 13,200 BPD of condensate.
