French firm Total EP Indonesie (TEPI) plans to spud an exploration well in the South Sageri block offshore East Kalimantan in early 2016.

?We will drill an exploration well in the South Sageri block at the end of 2015 or in early 2016 at the latest,? President Director/GM of TEPI Hardy Pramono told Petromindo.com.

Thai oil and gas firm PTTEP and Canadian oil and gas firm Talisman Energy recently transferred all of its interest in the South Sageri block to TEPI, so the block is now 100 percent owned by TEPI.
