TotalFinaElf launches tender via Internet

French oil and gas giant TotalFinaElf E&P Indonesie launched a new tender system for the procurement of various goods and services via the Internet, the Banjarmasin Post daily reported.
The paper said that the company?s East Kalimantan office held on Monday a seminar to launch the new system called e-Procurement. The seminar was participated by TotalFinalElf?s suppliers and contractors.
TotalFinaElf East Kalimantan district manager vice president Herve Madeo said that e-Procurement system was more effective and easier than the previous tender process.(*)
