Trada Maritime adds LR tanker to its fleet

IDX-listed shipping firm PT Trada Maritime Tbk. announced on Monday it had acquired majority shares of a local shipping company PT Agate Bumi Tanker, which operates a 96,833-DWT large range oil tanker.
The Company said that the tanker named MV Concertina is under 7-year contract with state oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero).
The Company did not disclose the transaction value.
The Company said that with the transaction it currently operated 36 vessels, which consisted 5 units of FSO, six oil tankers, 13 tug boats and 12 barges. (alex)
