Traditional buyers committed to continue importing LNG from Indonesia

Japan, South Korea and Taiwan remain committed to continuing importing liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Indonesia despite widespread worries about worsening security in the country following the Bali terrorist attack, a senior official of state oil and gas firm Pertamina said over the weekend.

?They remain committed to buy LNG from Indonesia,? Pertamina downstream director Muchsin Bahar told reporters on the sidelines of a seminar on Saturday.

The three countries are traditional buyers of Indonesia?s LNG. (godang)
