Trafoindo seeks to grab Kalimantan supply contract from PLN

Power distribution transformer maker PT Trafoindo Prima Perkasa is eying to grab supply contract for power infrastructure projects in Kalimantan being developed by state-owned electricity firm PT PLN.
?We participate in the tender. Aside from this, we?re also active in participating in tender for other projects, particularly projects in the eastern part of Indonesia,? Trafoindo Business Development Director, Winarto told Petromindo.com on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Powermax 2017.
Winarto said that about 60 percent of the company?s transformer products are sold to PLN, while the remainders are supplied to projects of private firms.
?We have installed capacity of 1,200 units (per year). We produced in accordance with demand. In June we obtained contract from PLN to supply around 200-300 units,? he said.
