Trans Power Marine purchases eight barges, one tug boat

IDX-listed Trans Power Marine Tbk reported that it has signed two deals with Sea Partner Holdings for the purchase of eight barges with combined total worth of US$18.4 million.

The first deal was signed on April 2 for the purchase of 4 barges, and the second was signed on April 8, the company said in a report published Monday.

The company added that on April 3, it signed an agreement with Trans-Log Supply Pte. Ltd. for the purchase of a tug boat worth $900,000.

According to the company?s website, Trans Power currently operates 21 tug boats and 25 barges.
