Transgasindo asks for toll fee increase

BPH Migas Director of Gas Indrayana Chaidir told Petromindo.Com that the pipeline segment, which transport gas from ConocoPhillips-operated Grissik gas field in South Sumatra to Singapore and Batam.
Chaidir said Transgasindo currently charges US0.69 per MMBTU of gas transported from Grissik to Singapore. He said that BPH Migas is currently calculating the new toll fee.
Separately, IDX-listed gas distribution firm PGN, which controls 60 percent shares of Transgasindo said that additional investment had been spent to replace pipeline segment that was broken and to add compressors in the pipeline.
Under the Indonesian Oil, Gas Law, BPH Migas has right to set up toll fee for gas transmission and distribution.
BPH Migas Chairman Tubagus Haryono was quoted by Detik.Com as saying that Transgasindo is spending $100 million to replace broken pipes and adding compressors. (godang)
