Transgasindo to rise domestic capacity of Grisik-Duri line

PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia (Transgasindo), a subsidiary of state owned gas distributor PT PGN, will increase the distribution capacity of Grisik-Duri pipeline for domestic market to 600 mmscfd with the development of phase-two of Jabung compression gas station.

At present, the Grisik-Duri pipeline has the capacity to distribute 427 mmscfd to domestic. Grisik-Singapore pipeline meanwhile can distribute 465 mmscfd.

"Gas pipeline compressors are available at 3 stations, Sakernan, Jabung and Pemping. We are now preparing to build phase-two Jabung project," Corporate Secretary Ivan Irawan told petromindo.com.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2013.

Meanwhile, Ivan also said the repair works at the Grisik-Duri pipe lane following a fire incident last year have been fully completed.

"The repair has been completed. It's becoming permanent in accordance with regulations. The lane has returned to normal," he said.
