Transocean inks drilling work from Total

Offshore drilling rig provider Transocean Limited announced it has secured a 40-month drilling work contract for Total E&P Indonesie.
The contract, under which it will drill at 400m water depth and drilling depth of 30,000m, will expire in January 2016 and is worth US$150,000 per day. It was an extension of the previous one which was valued at $140,000 per day, a company statement said.
The work will be carried out using the high specification jack up GSF Constellation I.
