Transportasi Gas Indonesia awards US$48.2m EPCC contract

Malaysia?s MMC Corporation Berhad (MMC) announced Friday that its subsidiary MMC Oil and Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd had won a US$48.2 million project contract from PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia.
Under the contract, MMC Oil and Gas will undertake Phase 1 of the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) of the Jabung gas booster compressor station, MMC said in statement to Bursa Malaysia.
In working on the project, MMC Oil and Gas will act as consortium leader in a partnership with PECD Construction Sdn Bhd and local company PT. Elnusa Petro Teknik.
PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia is a transmission unit of state owned distribution gas company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN). (denny)
