Triangle temporarily allowed to continue operatorship of Pase PSC

Upstream authority BPMIGAS has confirmed that Triangle Pase Inc (TPI) should continue to operate the Pase PSC until a definitive operator is selected.
The company said in a press statement on Friday that TPI was working closely with the government to be selected as that operator.
The Pase PSC covers an area of 922sqkm in Aceh and was first granted in 1981. It has been operated by Triangle Energy through its wholly owned subsidiary TPI since June 2009. Triangle Energy lodged an application to renew the PSC in February 2010.
