Tripatra consortium wins Donggi Senoro EPC tender

A consortium of PT Tripatra Engineering and Samsung Engineering Co has won the tender for EPC of LNG facilities in the Donggi Senoro LNG project in Central Sulawesi, according to a source.
The source said that the official announcement will be made in the mid of October. ?The Tripatra consortium has been appointed by Medco Energi to carry out the EPC at the LNG Donggi Senoro upstream project. It will be announce soon, probably in the middle of October,? the source told Petromindo.com on Thursday.
Tripatra, a subsidiary of PT Indika Energy Tbk, outbid other bidders including leading names such as the consortium of PT Inti Karya Persada Teknik, UK company Petrofac, consortium of PT Adhi Karya and Hyundai, and consortium PT Rekayasa Industri and Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co Ltd.
PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) is the developer of the Donggi Senoro LNG project. The company is a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corporation (51 percent), Pertamina Energy Services Pte Ltd (29 percent) and Medco E&P, a subsidiary PT Medco LNG Indonesia, (20 percent).
PT DSLNG is accelerating the preparation of the project so that it can deliver first LNG to buyers in the fourth quarter 2014.
