Tripatra-Encona consortium to bid for EPCI work in Block A

A consortium comprising of PT Tripatara and Encona Engineering is expected to open its bidding price for an EPCI work of facilities at PT Medco EP Indonesia?s Block A asset in East Aceh.

Tripatra-Encona has managed to out compete rival PT IKPT, which has decided to back down from the tender process.

?The (price) offer will be submitted by Tripatra-Encona this week to Medco. They (the consortium) move forward after IKPT backs down,? a source told Petromindo.com.

The EPCI project at Block A is currently being prepared by Medco to balance exploration activities there. ?Medco is currently drilling the Matang #1 (well) in Block A. The results will be known within the next 2-3 months,? the source said.
