Trisula Kencana to explore for coal in C. Kalimantan

PT Trisula Kencana Sakti (TKS) planned to explore coal in Central Kalimantan's Barito regency, Antara news agency reported Monday.

Exploration activities will be carried out in an area of 25,310 hectares in Gandring village, TKS director Anwar Santosa said when making presentation on his company's plans in Muara Teweh over the weekend.

The news agency did not say however when the coal exploration project would start.

He said the exploration area was located near the mining sites of several companies like PT Anugrah Mulya, PT Harfa Taruna Mandiri, PT Barito Putera, PT Bharinto Ekatama and PT Batubara Duaribu Abadi. (*)
