Tropik drills S. Sumatra delineation well

Tropik Energi, operator of Pandan block onshore South Sumatra is currently drilling the Sriwijaya-2 well to delineate previous discovery, an official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said.
Spokesperson Amir Hamzah told Petromindo.Com that the well, which was spudded on September 25, 2009, will be drilled to the depth of 4,900 feet.
Sriwijaya-1 well was drilled in 2007 and being plugged and abandoned as gas and condensate discovery. (bernard)
