Truba Alam signs EPC contracts

Publicly listed engineering and electricity company PT Truba Alam Manunggal (Truba) signed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for the building of four coal-fired power plants (PLTU) with the total of 380-MW.
The company’s President Director Arifin Wiguna disclosed that the contracts were signed by Truba’s Singapore-based subsidiary Tame Turnkey Contracting Pte. Ltd with PT Ranya Energy for the development of PLTU Kuala Tanjung (2 x 125 MW); with PT Central Daya Energy for the development of PLTU Lampung (2 x 30 MW); with PT Equator Manunggal Power for the development of PLTU Pontianak (2 x 25 MW); and with PT Bangka Manunggal for PLTU Bangka (2 x 10 MW).
The works would be completed in 2008 with the average cost of US$900,000 per MW. (godang)
