Truba, EDF in coal trading JV

JSX-listed engineering firm PT.Truba Alam Manunggal Engineering has set up a coal trading JV with Singaporean energy trader EDF Trading, Kontan daily reported Friday.
Head of Investors Relations Agustino Sudjono said that the 50:50 JV company is called Maxima Coal Pte.Ltd. and is headquartered in Singapore.
EDF Trading is a 100% owned subsidiary of the EDF Group, Europe?s largest power utility and a group with a growing presence in the natural gas industry
Sudjono said that the trading company would commence coal export in December this year. He did not give further detail.
Truba also has a coal mining concession in Muara Enim, South Sumatra wich is currently in exploration stage. (*)
