Truba to start production from S. Sumatra coal mine

IDX-listed firm Truba Alam Manunggal Tbk said Friday its South Sumatra coal mine will start production in the second half of this year.

Corporate Secretary Gamala V. Katoppo said the mine, which is located in Muara Enim regency, will start production with annual capacity of 1 million tonnes per annum in the first years.

Katoppo said the entire mine?s production, which carry CV of 5,800 kcal/kg, will be dedicated to export market through the company?s trading unit.

According to Katoppo, the mine has reserves of 140 million tonnes. (kanti)
