Tuban crude production tops 40,000 bpd

The crude production of Tuban block onshore East Java has surpassed 40,000 barrel per day (bpd) and is expected to further increase to 45,000 bpd by the end of this year, Pertamina Hulu Energy (PHE)?s spokesperson Ali Mudakir said on Thursday.
Production from Tuban comes from the Mudi and Sukowati fields, he said.
The block is jointly operated by state oil and gas company PT Pertamina and Chinese firm PetroChina.
The partnership earlier said production from Tuban will increase to 60,000 bpd within the next three years. (godang)
