Tuhup Coal Mining gets potential investor

Indonesia-exchange listed mining firm PT ATPK Resources Tbk reported Monday that its new potential investor to develop its coal mine unit PT Tuhup Coal Mining in Muara Tuhup, Murung Raya regency, Central Kalimantan was PT Mulia Utama Bahari (MUB).
MUB is now conducting survey at out crops and drilling location to take bulk sampling, the company said without giving details.
The mine is still in exploration stage and at the present, is processing land-use permit from forestry ministry and studying its barging route from the mine to Barito river
ATPK, through its unit PT Modal Investasi Mineral (MIM) has 70 percent stake at Tuhup Coal Mining. In September 2010, ATPK said that MIM would sell its entire 70 percent stake in Tuhup Coal Mining mine. ?Tuhup Coal Mining has been facing financing difficulties to develop the mine.? (denny)
