Tunas Jaya to start gold production next year

Indonesian gold miner PT Tunas Jaya Tamamas recently stated it plans to start production from its 5,000 hectare concession in Bombana Regency of Southeast Sulawesi sometimes in 2013.
?We are currently undergoing the detailed exploration stage," Tunas Jaya Commissioner Ladjiman Damanik told Petromindo.com, adding that the company plans to sell the output to the local market, awaiting for reserve estimate before deciding on output target.
?Selling gold is not as hard, with local markets situated in Kebayoran Lama, Jatinegara (Jakarta), Serang and Garut, at international market due to it being a universal currency,? Ladjiman said.
