Two bidders eyeing Belanak LPG-FSO

Indonesian unit of US oil, gas firm ConocoPhillips has short-listed two final bidders to provide LPG-FSO vessel for its Belanak gas field in Natuna Sea Block B in Natuna Sea, a senior official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Tuesday.

Vice-Chairman Hardiono told Petromindo.Com that Malaysia?s M3nergy Bhd-Pertamina Tongkang consortium and Norway firm BW Offshore-PT Energy Consulting Indonesia have submitted commercial bidding, which would be opened on July 29, 2010.

?The winner will be announced after commercial evaluation is completed,? he said.

The vessel will have capacity to process 500 MMCFD of raw gas, 100,000 BPD of oil and 23,000 BPD of LPG.

According to ConocoPhillips? tender announcement in 2009, the period of the Time Charter will be fifteen years with two annually renewable options to extend the Time Charter to 2028. (bernard)
