Two companies interested in Offshore North X-Ray block

Two oil and gas companies have submitted letters expressing interest to farm into the Offshore North X-Ray block, owned by Conrad Petroleum Pte. Ltd., according to an industry source.

The source told Petromindo.com that two companies are PT Tropik Energi and ASX-listed AWE Ltd.

The block was awarded to Conrad on March 21, 2013. The firm paid a signature bonus of US$1,000,000 upon signing the contract.

The work program commitment for Offshore North X-Ray block over the first three years of exploration includes G&G study (US$450,000) and 2D seismic survey (2,000 km).
