Two consortia compete to supply FSO for Cepu block

Vice-Chairman Hardiono told Petromindo.Com that consortium of PT Scorpa Pranedya and Singapore?s Sembawang Corporation has passed technical evaluation along with consortium of PT Indoturbine and Malaysia?s MISC Berhad.
?Both bidders are now entering commercial stage for EPC 4,? Hardiono said without giving further detail.
He also added that six companies have participated in tender to construct production facility (EPC 1) for the Cepu Block. The six companies are local firms PT Rekayasa Industri, PT Tripatra Engineering, PT Inti Karya Persada Teknik and South Korean firms Hyundai Corp., and Daewoo Corp. and Indian firm Punj Llyod.
ExxonMobil, together with partner state oil, gas company PT Pertamina is developing the giant block to reach production capacity of 165,000 BPD in 2013.
The company divided construction works into five packages: production facilities, onshore pipeline, subsea pipeline and FSO, infrastructures and subsurface. (bernard)
