Two injured as another shooting incident hits Freeport

Two employees working for the gold and copper mine PT Freeport Indonesia were injured in another shooting incident at Tuesday morning.
The shooting occurred at Mile 42 of the road linking the town of Timika and Freeport's Grasberg mining site at around 9:40 a.m. local time, Freeport's spokesman Mindo Pangaribuan told Petromindo.com.
The injured employees are currently being treated at a clinic near the area, he said, adding the shooting incidents did not affect activities of the mining company. (godang)
