The government?s selection committee has shortlisted two names to be candidates for the position of president director at state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina.
Sources said the Body for Consideration of Ranks and Positions, led by Vice President Jusuf Kalla, finally last night picked up President Director of state owned fertilizer firm Semen Indonesia Dwi Sucipto and GE Indonesia?s CEO Handry Satriago to be proposed for President Joko Widodo to select as the new president of Pertamina.
?Sucipto hold advantages over Handry,? the sources said.
Minister of State Enterprises Rini M. Soewarno is expected to announce Pertamina?s new board of directors, including the president director later today (Friday), assuming the President will take his pick today.
The selection team proposed the board of directors to be composed of six members, including three representing the firm?s subsidiaries and three professionals from outside the firm, the sources said.
