TWU oil refinery resumes production

This was said by Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources IGWN Wiratmaja Puja.
The refinery had suspended production since January of this year due to disagreement between the firm and crude supplier on the price of the crude after an earlier crude sale and purchase agreement expired. The 18,000 bpd oil refinery previously received crude supply from Mobil Cepu Limited, the operator of the Cepu block.
Wiratmaja said as quoted by Kontan that TWU has sent a letter to the government demanding a crude supply of up to 10,000 bpd. He said that the government is still evaluating the request. ?It (the additional crude supply) can from the government?s share (of Cepu block), or ExxonMobil, or Pertamina. It?s still being evaluated by the team,? he said. (*)
