UCI makes first coal shipment from Berau Bara Abadi to India

Coal mining company PT United Coal Indonesia (PT UCI) stated that it has made the first shipment of coal from Berau Bara Abadi concession in Berau regency, East Kalimantan. President Director, Taufik Surya Dharma told Petromindo.com that the vessel is destined for India.
"We delivered the first shipment last week, one Panamax vessel to India," he said, adding that the production activity in Berau Bara Abadi commenced in November 2013.
Taufik said that he company is targeting to produce 2 million tons from the concession this year, and 3 million tons next year with the coal CV 4400-3400 kcal/kg of multi seam.
