UCI to lift output capacity

Indonesia coal mining company, PT United Coal Indonesia (PT UCI) said that it was on track to increase production as the company entered final talks on the plan to acquire coal concession in Loa Janan, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan.
Taufik Surya Dharma, President Director of PT UCI said that the acquisition process is expected to be completed by the end of September 2013.
The coal mine in Kutai Kartanegara has a total concession of about 5,000 hectares having 60 million tons coal reserves.
?It is expected that by the year end the new concession could start contributing to the current production output,? Taufik told Petromindo.com adding that the company planned also to ramp up production from Loa Janan concession to between 200,000 and 250,000 tons per month by next year.
?In 2013, we are targeting to regain our EBITDA to be the same as 2011 performance by increasing production volume through acquisition of new coal mines,? he said.
