Undersea geology mapping not yet completed

Director general of geology and mineral resources at the Ministry of Mines and Energy Suryantoro said on Monday that the 1:250,000 scale undersea geology mapping had not yet been completed.
He said that only some 15 percent of the geology mapping job had been done.
Suryantoro said that the undersea geology mapping must be immediately completed because the same scale ground geology mapping had been completed.
He said that the undersea geology mapping was crucial to help develop the country's mineral and mining potential. (*)
